Karten

Heute habe ich keinen Stoff bedruckt, sondern dafür Karten gestempelt.

Today, I haven't printed  on fabric, but on paper and made some cards.

Filzito Fotowettbewerb gestartet

Der Frühling ist endlich da, also geht es los mit dem bereits angekündigten großen Filzito-Fotowettbewerb.

Die Teilnahmebedingungen sind sehr einfach: Wir suchen das schönste Filzitofoto zum Thema Frühling. Die Gewinner erhält aus Segeltuch (Motivaufdruck nach Absprache). Das schönste Foto wird von einer unabhängigen Jura (Filzito-Nichtbesitzer) ausgewählt.

Und es gibt noch eine zweite Chance, denn unter allen Teilnehmern wird ein zweites Stoffkörbchen ausgelost. Jeder Teilnehmer darf nur ein Foto einsenden. Mit der Einsendung haben wir die Rechte, die Fotos auf unseren Webseiten auch zu zeigen (natürlich mit Nennung des Fotografen).

Der Einsendeschluß ist der 10. Mai 2013.

Der Rechtsweg ist natürlich ausgeschlossen. ;-)

Finally, it is springtime. So, we start with our already announced big Filzito photo competition. The entry rules are very simple: we are looking for the most beautiful Filzito photo with the topic spring. The winner is rewarded with a little basket made from canvas (motif according to agreement). The most beautiful photo will be chosen by an independent jury (non Filzito owners).

And there will be a second chance, because all participants will take part in a drawing for a second basket. Each participant may only send one photo. By sending the photo, you concede the right to publish the photo on our websites to us (by mentioning the author, of course).

The deadline is May 10, 2013.

Stoffkörbchen

Eigentlich hatte ich das Segeltuch gekauft, um daraus Taschen zu nähen, aber der Stoff ist viel zu dick und steif, das hätte meine Nähmaschine nicht geschafft. Da der Stoff so stabil ist und von allein steht, dachte ich mir, daß er vielleicht ideal für kleine Körbchen sein könnte. Und tatsächlich eignet er sich hervorragend dafür. Wenn nicht gerade Filzitos darin sitzen, kann man zum Beispiel Wolle, sein Strickzeug und vieles mehr darin aufbewahren.

My plan was to make bags from this canvas fabric, but it is so heavy and thick, that my sewing machine couldn't handle it. The fabric is so stabile und is standing for itself, that I thought it could be ideal for make little storage basket from it. And really, the fabric is perfect for this. When no Filzitos are sitting in the storage bag, you can keep for example wool, knitting and many more in it.

Wieder zurück

Die Pause im Blog ist vorüber. Ich bin aus dem Urlaub zurück und habe viel mitgebracht: neue Ideen und Materialien.

So sehen die drei Podencostempel kombiniert auf einem Stoff aus. Diesmal habe ich auf  schweres Segeltuch gedruckt.

Now you can see, how the three Ibizanhound stamps look like together on one fabric. I printed them on heavy canvas.
